In the spring of 2026, a Teen Video Contest was launched to give Camarillo teens and youth an opportunity to share what they love about their community and what they hope for in the future. The contest was open to all young people who live, work, or go to school in Camarillo and was promoted via partnerships with the Camarillo Teen Advisory Board, Scouting America, the Boys & Girls Club, and an audio-visual class at Camarillo High.
In total, 7 video submissions were received and a winner was selected by the GPAC on June 11, based on creativity, impact, and the clarity of their messaging. View our winning video, a “mashup” of the videos, and all other submissions below!
